The following picture are material artefacts of Castries. These are statues of St. Lucia's 2 nobel laureates Derek Walcott and Sir Arthurl Lewis. These statues are found in the Derek Walcott Square and aim to honor the 2 persons who helped put the country on the map. It also aids to show honor and respect to these 2 people. These material artefacts aim to show the culture of the people of St. Lucia and aid in making an impression on the materiality of the city.
