Urban spaces

 
The following photo was taken in Tunapuna. What caught my attention with this space was that surrounding the area was a number of businesses. Questions that pondered through my mind were:
1. Why isnt this area utilized as there is competiton for space in Tunapuna proven by the number of construction activities taking place.
2.Why is the area left in this unsightly manner?
3. Does the unsightly manner affect the surrounding businesses?
4. Can this area be managed or utilized by residnets as a prospective green space?
